This Privacy Policy explains how TaoMenu (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, apps, and related services (the “Service”).
The English version of this Policy is the controlling version.

Information we collect
Account and store data
- Email address and authentication data (for example OTP or OAuth identifiers)
- Store profile (name, slug, settings, plan)
- Menu content, tables, pickup points, orders, service requests, and related operational records you create
Device and technical data
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP (for security and locale hints)
- Browser type, device type, and basic diagnostic logs
- Push notification subscription endpoints if you enable staff notifications
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary for login sessions and locale preference. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the product app.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service
- Authenticate users and protect accounts
- Send transactional messages (for example login codes)
- Improve reliability and diagnose errors
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms
Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your region, we may rely on contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent where required (for example certain notifications).
Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the Service, for example:
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, object storage) under contractual safeguards

You can stop staff push notifications in the terminal settings (where available).
Children
The Service is designed for business users. It is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, additional notice in the Service.
